The primary goal at Peacock is to provide an environment in which every student learns to think critically through mastery of an appropriate body of knowledge, lead a healthy life, behave ethically and lawfully, and assume the responsibilities of citizenship in our democratic society. Peacock as a middle school focuses squarely on the characteristics and needs of young adolescents by creating a community of adults and young people embedded in networks of support and responsibility that enhance the commitment of students to learning. In partnership with parents and community organizations, Peacock offers its students multiple sites and multiple methods for fostering the learning and health of adolescents.
