The 2002 Spring Musical
The Choral Department at Peacock Middle School, Itasca School District #10, performed The Music Man at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 25 and Friday, April 26,  2002 in the Peacock gymnasium. The production work began in January. The students involved were in grades 6 through 8. The first performance coincided with the Fine and Applied Arts Festival, the second was our encore performance. We also offered a school day performance for the student body on Tuesday, April 23 at 1:00 p.m. This year, the cast and crew included almost one-hundred and thirty students. Every morning the music room and cafeteria were filled with the sounds of rehearsal. The sets took form all over the stage. Costumes were churned out with the expert advice of the Family and Consumer Science department and the costume crew. And each day after school, several crews were busy painting the sets for the many scenes.
