Itasca School District 10 Band Director, Mr. Tim Loest, was selected as a Special Awards recipient by the Standard Awards Panel of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).

The ASCAP Plus awards program provides cash and recognition to many active writers in the early stages of their careers as well as to established writers whose main activity is outside the broadcast media.

The Standard Award is issued to writers of symphonic, chamber, operatic, choral, electronic, liturgical or educational music. The awards are determined annually by distinguished members of the music community. For more information, visit...
