We students in the 2000-2001 8th grade class at
F. E. Peacock Middle School will . . .
1. Follow all school rules.
2. Follow all rules unique to each class.
3. Be considered tardy if we are not ready
to begin class when our teacher is. It is
our responsibility to be on time.
4. Complete all work on time. Work not
completed on time will result in a
lower grade. There will be a point
after which work will no longer be
accepted (see below). Our parents will
be notified after two missing
assignments. It is our responsibility to
meet deadlines as well as to get
missing work resulting from absences.

(finishing a math assignment in Language Arts class). Our teachers will take it from us and discard it. It is our responsibility to remain on task.
6. Have personal notes that we are
reading or writing confiscated and
mailed home.
7. Be honest. Students cheating on a
test, quiz, or assignment will receive a
zero. Cheating involves both the
person who copies and the person
who allows the copying. Talking
during a test/quiz is considered
cheating. It is our responsibility to be
trustworthy.
8. Have the supplies we need for class.
Locker passes will not be given out.
It is our responsibility to be prepared
for class both mentally and
physically.
9. Be responsible. Misuse of the computer/internet will result in the loss of computer privileges for the remainder of the class period and the next class period as well.
