Seventh Grade Homework Policy and Contract

The complete text of the homework policy is listed on p. 19 of the F.E. Peacock Middle School Handbook. The seventh grade teachers have developed this additional policy to keep parents informed about missing assignments. Please save this for future reference and return the bottom to Mr. Poremba.

Students are required to carry their F.E. Peacock Middle School Assignment Notebooks with them to all classes. Failure to do so may result in a BAT. Any student who does not turn in an assignment will have this noted by the teacher in his or her assignment notebook. Late assignments will be accepted no later than the beginning of the next class meeting. The student will earn reduced credit for any late assignment.

Parents are encouraged to review their child’s assignment notebook regularly and to use it as an opportunity to remain in contact with classroom teachers.
