Third Grade Activities

Timeline Activity Project

Students visited Itasca Historical Depot Museum and listened to a presentation given by Joan Stinton on the history of Itasca. Senior citizens were invited to join us for this event. The students cooperatively worked on a timeline book for their classroom illustrating the town's history. Some students also interviewed our senior citizen guests. This interview was presented on the computer with a digital picture of the guest. The students then ask questions about life in Itasca and the one-room school that some of our guests atended when they were children.
