    REVIEW OF GILLIGAN’S ISLAND
    by Stephanie J.

Seven people took a tiny ship on a cruise from Hawaii. The seven people’s names were: Gilligan, The Skipper, Thurston Howell III (The Millionaire), Lovey Howell (The Millionaire’s Wife), Ginger Grant (The Movie Star), The Professor, and Mary-Ann.

The cruise was supposed to only be three hours, but the weather started getting rough and the tiny ship crashed on an island. They had to make huts out of sticks and straw to live in and find their own food. They also had to fight off voodoo natives that visited the island. Many other people came to the island, and the seven people had many chances to get off the island. Something always went wrong, and Gilligan was the one who always messed it up.

The last episode I watched was with a lady who was flying in an airplane not far from the island. They heard her voice on the radio and were trying to contact her so she could come and rescue them. Gilligan was fishing and he accidently hooked the radio with his pole and it flew in the ocean. They were so close to getting help and then Gilligan ruined their chances.

Whoever has not watched Gilligan’s Island, you should. It’s a good show. It’s sometimes on Nick at Night.

    RUNS LIKE A BRONCO
    by Kyle L.

I think Terrel Davis if the best running back in the NFL. He plays for the Broncos and is the best running back on the team. He has played in the NFL for 6 seasons, and he went to college in Georgia.

Terrel Davis ran over 1,000 yeards in his rookie year. He averages 105.1 yards a game. That is the highest average in NFL history!

He is smart and works really hard. Terrel Davis is 28 years old and he was born in San Diego, CA. He is 5’11" tall and weighs 210 pounds.

We need Terrel Davis on the Chicago Bears!

    PUMPKIN GRAPH
    by Kelly M.

In my survey, I asked the students from Benson Primary School what kind of face they like to carve on their pumpkin. The choices of faces were happy, mad, funny, or scary. The students’ favorite face to carve was a scary face. Three students liked to carve a happy face. Only one student liked to carve a mad face. The funny face was picked the least. Zero people voted for a funny face. I think I will see a lot of scary pumpkins on Halloween!

    VACATION
    by Ricky G.

This was the best summer vacation I ever had. My dad, mom, sister and I drove the motor home more than 3,500 miles!

Two days after school was out we began driving to Walt Disney World. There were many stops along the way. The first stop was Nashville, TN to see Grandma and Grandpa. Then Stone Mountain, Georgia to see our cousins and aunt and uncle. Next stop Ocala, FL – Don Garlit's racecar museum.

Finally we arrived at Disney World. Some of my favorite things were the fireworks in the water and air – they were the coolest ANYWHERE EVER. Also, the big ball at EPCOT, and the spinning teacups. Little lizards were everywhere. They’re fast crawlers.

We stayed at Forest Wilderness. It’s huge! If you didn’t have bikes, you needed golf carts. My friend Austin Pruyn was at Disney at the same time, but we didn’t see each other. After five of the best days ever, we left.

Sarasota, FL was next for Aunt Zelda’s 80th birthday. Our next stops were at Ft. Myers, FL, Sanabelle Island, and Daytona, FL. In Hunting Islands, SC we saw my cousin Jason. We saw the ocean and collected sand dollars and also saw high tide and low tide.

Then we went to Ashville, NC and Chimney Rock. The Blue Ridge Mountains were my mom’s favorite.

Last stop was Nashville, TN and 16 days later we were finally home!
