Effective immediately, the Board of Education of Itasca District 10 is seeking to fill a vacancy on the Board as a result of the recent resignation of Board Member, James McCann. Qualifications to serve as a member of the Board of Education include:
- Being at least 18 years of age
- Being a resident of the school district for at least one year
- Being a registered voter
The selection process to fill the vacancy includes submission of a letter of interest and a resume. Candidates may then be asked to interview with the Board of Education. The successful candidate will serve out Mr. McCann’s term that ends in the spring of 2009.
If you are interested in serving your community as a member of the Board of Education, please submit a letter of interest and your resume by September 14, 2007, to the Board of Education, 200 N. Maple Street, Itasca, 60143.
