II. Review of Mission Statement and Goals A considerable discussion ensued as to how to proceed with the meeting. Through that discussion, members of the board and the administration agreed that the schedule should be changed so that goal planning would not be two years out and evaluation of the goals would be closer to the time the goals were implemented. The board will meet in the fall to evaluate the goals from the previous school year and then will meet in the winter (January or February?) to review, discuss and plan the goals for the next school year. Following this discussion, the board reviewed and affirmed each of the 2006-07 goals that were approved last year. These goals are attached to these minutes.
There was also some discussion to narrow the goals and make them more specific.
III. There being no further business, President Powers adjourned the meeting at 7:50 p.m.
