Board of Education November 1, 2005 Special Meeting Minutes

 

The purpose of the special meeting was to discuss the employment and compensation of a specific employee.

 

I.       The special meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by President Patrick Powers with the following board members present:

Also present:

 

Dr. Ken Cull, Superintendent of Schools

 

President Powers led everyone present in the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

II.      Closed Session – A motion was made by Mrs. McDonald and seconded by Mr. Maier that the Board of Education enter a closed session for the purpose of discussing the employment and compensation of a specific employee. The motion carried on the following ROLL CALL VOTE:

Mr. Powers

 

The board entered a closed session at 6:04 p.m.

 

A motion was made by Mrs. McDonald and seconded by Mr. McCann that the Board of Education return to open session. The motion carried on the following ROLL CALL VOTE:

Mrs. McDonald

Mrs. Zelenka

 

The board returned to open session at 7:26 p.m.

 

President Powers stated that while in closed session, the board had discussed the employment and compensation of a specific employee and no action had been taken.

 

III.          Adjournment – There being no further business, President Powers adjourned the meeting at 7:30 p.m.taken.
