NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX INCREASE FOR ITASCA SCHOOL DISTRICT #10
I. A public hearing to approve a proposed property tax increase for Itasca School District #10, DuPage County, Illinois for 2005 will be held on Wednesday, December 14th, 2005, at 7:15 p.m. at the Itasca Village Hall, 550 West Irving Park Road, Itasca, Illinois 60143.
Any person desiring to appear at the public hearing and present testimony to the taxing district may contact Dr. Kenneth L. Cull, Superintendent of Schools, 200 North Maple Street, Itasca, Illinois 60143-1722, telephone (630) 773-1232, extension 511.
II. The corporate and special purpose property taxes extended or abated for 2004 were $7,832,736.72. The proposed corporate and special purpose property taxes to be levied for 2005 are $8,707,230.
This represents an 11.16% increase over the previous year.
III. The property taxes extended for debt service and public building commission leases for 2004 were $707,329.37.
The estimated property taxes to be levied for debt service and public building commission leases for 2005 are $707,000. This represents a 0% increase over the previous year.
IV. The total property taxes extended or abated for 2004 were $8,540,066.10.
V. The estimated total property taxes to be levied for 2005 are $9,414,230. This represents a 10.24 % increase over the previous year.
