I. The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by President Nolte with the following ROLL CALL:

II. Administration of the Oath of Office –

Superintendent Cull administered the Oath of Office to Mrs. Diann Dale, Mr. Dennis Torii, Mrs. Susan Nolte and Mr. Chuck Hervas.

President Nolte thanked Mr. Schawel for his service to the Board of Education and invited him to attend the next board meeting for formal recognition.

Mrs. Diann Dale took her seat as a member of the Board of Education.

III. Board Election of Officers –

President – A motion was made by Mr. Hervas and seconded by Mr. Torii that Mrs. Susan Nolte be nominated to serve as President of the Board of Education for a two year term. Following an opportunity for further nominations and there being none, the motion carried on the following ROLL CALL VOTE:

Vice-President – A motion was made by Mrs. McDonald and seconded by Mr. Powers that Mr. Dennis Torii be nominated to serve as Vice-President of the Board of Education for a two year term. Following an opportunity for further nominations and there being none, the motion carried on the following ROLL CALL VOTE:

Secretary – Motion made by Mr. Hervas and seconded by Mr. Torii that Mrs. Maureen McDonald be nominated to serve as Secretary of the Board of Education for a two year term. Following an opportunity for further nominations and there being none, the motion carried on the following ROLL CALL VOTE:
