PURPOSE: The purpose of the special salary committee meeting was to consider information regarding educational support personnel/administrative salaries.

The meeting was held at the Administrative Center, 200 North Maple, Itasca, IL.

I.Mrs. Maureen McDonald, committee chairperson, called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. with the following committee members present:

Mrs. Maureen McDonald Mr. Jim McCann Mr. Dennis Torii Also present: Dr. Glenn Acksel, Superintendent Mrs. Catherine Seger, Recording Secretary

II. Dr. Acksel explained various considerations in determining increases for support staff salaries. Members of the committee discussed the considerations. It was determined that $44,800 be allocated for support salaries.

III. Superintendent Acksel reviewed salaries being considered for administrators. A lengthy discussion ensued and the committee determined that a total of $18,375 be recommended for administrators.

IV. There being no further business, Chairperson Mrs. McDonald adjourned the committee meeting at 6:45 p.m.
