Minutes of the Board of Education special meeting held Friday, May 11, 2001, in the Itasca School District #10 Administrative Office, 200 North Maple Street, Itasca.

The purpose of the special meeting was to review and revise the Mission Statement and Goals.

I. President Nolte called the special meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. with the following ROLL CALL:

Ms. Dawn Esposito, Principal, Raymond Benson Primary School
Mr. Charles Kapachinski, Director of Technology
Dr. Marcia Tornatore, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum
Mrs. Catherine Seger, Recording Secretary

Dr. Ken Cull, incoming Superintendent
Mrs. Diann Dale

The Pledge of Allegiance was said.

II. President Nolte welcomed visitors to the meeting. There being no further business, Mrs. Nolte, Board President, adjourned the meeting at 9:24 p.m.

III. Members of the Board of Education, the Superintendent, and administrators reviewed the 2001-2002 school year Mission Statement and Goals. Some changes/additions/deletions were made throughout the document. The revised copy for the 2002-2003 school year was printed and distributed to members of the Board of Education and will be on the agenda for the June Board of Education meeting.

IV. There being no further business, President Lynch adjourned the meeting at 8:20 p.m.
